The Regular Research Of The Constitutional Distribution In The Traditional Chinese Medicine Of The Patients With Large Intestinal Adenomas

Background:The incidence of colorectal cancer increases year by year, while about 80% of colorectal cancers come from the evolution and transformation of large intestinal adenomas. According to the related studies, the cancerous probability of large intestinal adenomas is four times that of normal people. In addition, the rate of adenomatous recurrence about the patients with large intestinal adenomas is as high as 30-50%.Due to many factors such as family, economy and society, the current discovery rate, acquainted rate and diagnostic rate for the large intestinal adenomas are still low, which to the extent that, has failed to timely and effectively diagnosis and treat the large intestinal adenomas to prevent the occurrence of colorectal cancer or reduce the incidence, mortality of colorectal cancer.Research purposes:This topic research was a kind of survey about the constitution in the Traditional Chinese Medicine of the patients with large intestinal adenomas, which to grasp the individual tendency of the constitution that the patients with colorectal adenomas own, and sum up the regulation of the constitutional distribution in the Traditional Chinese Medicine of the patients with large intestinal adenomas, in order to provide clinical guidance for preventing and treating the large intestinal tumor to occur, develop and cancerate with Chinese and western medicine in the future, at the same time to supply the theoretical foundation for developing and enriching the constitution theory of the large intestinal adenomas.Methods:From April 2015 to February 2016, we have made a questionnaire investigation of the patients’ constitution of Traditional Chinese Medicine, who were the patients in the Digestive System Department’s Clinic,Ward or Endoscopy Room of The Second People’s Hospital of Fujian Province and The Health Check Centre. According to the classification standards about the constitution in the Traditional Chinese Medicine springing from the release of China association of Chinese Medicine in April,2009,we have bring the survey data in the PASWStatistics 18, and used statistical analysis to conclude and summarize out the regulation of the constitutional distribution in the Traditional Chinese Medicine of the patients with large intestinal adenomas.Results:We have surveyed 100 cases of patients with large enteric adenomas, from which 57 cases were males and 43 cases were females. During the different age paragraph the pathological classification of patients with large intestinal adenomas were mainly tubular adenomas. Among those, there were 97 cases in the Tubular adenomas--about 97%, followed by mixed adenomas owned 2 cases--about 2%, again the villous adenomas enjoyed 1 case--about 1%.There were most people for the patients with large intestinal adenomas of the different pathological types in the age group of 50 to 59 years old--about 39%, followed by 60-69 years old owned 30 cases (about 30%), again 40 to 49 years old enjoyed 18 cases (about 18%).No matter male or female, the pathologic type of the large intestinal adenomas is mainly the tubular adenoma. Regardless of men and women, the large intestinal adenomas occurred mostly in the transverse colon, the ascending colon and the sigmoid colon. The pathological position of large intestinal adenomas were that 25 cases were in the transverse colon (about 25%),23 cases were in the ascending colon(about 23%),21 cases were in the sigmoid colon--about 21%, yet the splenic flexure colon was least. Large intestinal adenomas whether men or women in all age groups could occur. The constitutions in the Traditional Chinese Medicine of the patients with large intestinal adenomas aged 18 to 29 years old were given priority to the Gentle Temperament,30 to 59 years old were given priority to the Damp-heat Constitution,60-69 years old were given priority to the Phlegmy-wet Quality and Blood-stasis Constitution,70-80 years old were given priority to the Qi-deficiency Constitution, Yang-deficiency Quality and Blood-stasis Habitus. The constitution in the Traditional Chinese Medicine of the patients with large intestinal adenomas regardless of men and women were given priority to the Hot-humid Quality. The Hot-humid Quality owned 29 cases (about 29%), secondly the Phlegmy-wet Quality enjoyed 20 cases (about 20%), thirdly the Blood-stasis Constitution owned 17 cases (about 17%).In the different pathological poisitions of the patients with large intestinal adenomas, the traditional Chinese medicine physique were mostly the Hot-humid Quality,and in the different pathological types were mainly the Hot-humid Quality too.The number of the people with the large intestinal adenomas was most between 0.5cm to 1.0 cm in the diameter.Conclusion:l.In the different age groups large intestinal adenomas can happen in both men and women, which are mainly in this age 40-69 years old, especially mostly in the age of 50 to 59 years old, and the secondly 60-69 years old,40 to 49 and 18 to 29 years old again, however lowest among 70-80 years old.In the morbidity of the large enteric adenomas patient men are more than women, the sex ratio is that 1.3:1;2.The pathologic types of the large intestinal adenomas are mainly tubular adenoma, secondly the mix neoplasia, again the villous adenoma, serrated adenoma. The diameter of most of the large intestinal adenomas was between 0.5cm to 1.0 cm;3.Large intestinal adenomas most often happened in the Transverse Colon, Ascending Colon or Sigmoid Colon regardless of men and women;4.The constitution in the Traditional Chinese Medicine of the patients with large intestinal adenomas was mostly the Hot-humid Quality, secondly the Phlegmy-wet Quality, the Blood stasis Quality again. The constitutions in the Traditional Chinese Medicine of the patients with large intestinal adenomas are given priority to the Gentle Temperament,30 to 59 years old are given priority to the Damp-heat Constitution,60-69 years old are given priority to the Phlegmy-wet Quality and Blood-stasis Constitution,70-80 years old are given priority to the Qi-deficiency Constitution, Yang-deficiency Quality and Blood-stasis Habitus.
