Heart sound is an important physiological signal, which contains a large number of physiological and pathological information. Therrefor, the collection and analysis of heart sound signal is of great significance to improve diagnosis of heart disease. Heart sound detection system analyze the heart rate and heart sounds Composite Index automatically by collecting paper heart sound signal, and pass results of the analysis by sound. It provides a new platform for users to self-detect heart sound.According to the composite character of the frequency domain of heart sounds, this paper presents a new method in the detection and assessment of heart sound. This method is called Comprehensive Index in Time Domain & Frequency Domain(CITF). CITF is a comprehensive indicator for the heart sounds in the time domain and frequency domain characteristics. This paper designs the calculation method of CITF. It provides a new method for comprehensive assessment of heart sounds.This paper designs a constant-defined threshold(CDT) for calculation of rate by improve selection sort algorithm, design adaptive threshold and preset span of the peak in order to overcome the anomalies from actually collected heart sounds, such as noise instead of the peak and the first heart sound obvious.This paper designs and implements the detection system of heart sound. It uses CITF’s method and CDT’s algorithm. The system includes a collection module, voice broadcast module, main control module. It implements the collection and pretreatment of heart sounds, calculation of the CITF, calculates heart rate, broadcast results over voice and other functions. Then, the system is converted into a small device for portable.Finally, this paper examines the accuracy and stability of the heart sound detection system by tracking experimental sample and repeat the experiment. It presents advanced system solutions on the basis of the original scheme.(a). It design an improved heart rate calculated by the variable-defined threshold(VDT).(b). It calculates the entropy symbol of heart sounds for composite index of heart sound. Comparative experiments show that advanced systems can significantly improve the accuracy and stability analysis of heart sound.This article provides the Comprehensive Evaluation Method of heart sound and detection system of heart sound is versatile. They can be applied to different hardware platform with different performance. And they have promotion and practical value.
