OBJECTIVE: To investigate the mechanism, influencing factors and the general pattern of ADR in central nervous system. Put forward the reasonable suggestions of clinical medication to make it safer and more effective.MRTHODS: This study collected, from 2000 to 2014, 1262 cases of ADR in central nervous system from medical literature reports. By using the retrospective analysis method, using the computer aided tools, on the content of articles for recording, analysis, database establishment, database screening, we finally carried on the summary analysis.RESULTS: 1. In the 1262 cases of ADR in central nervous system, male patients accounted for 54.04%, women accounted for45.96%, the male to female ratio: 1.18:1. The cases of ADR in central nervous system are the most in people aged over 60,there are 430 cases, accounting for 34.08%. 2. This study involved a total of 280 varieties of drug and 66 groups of compatibility of drugs which induced ADR in central nervous system. In all of the drugs which induced ADR in central nervous system, the quantity of cases in the top five are: anti-infective drugs, central nervous system drugs, hormones, drugs for digestive system and cardiovascular system drug. In addition, the there are also 85 cases of compatibility of drugs, that accounted for 6.74%. Among them, they are the most that compatibility of drugs of 2 or more drugs of similar pharmacological effects(50.59%) and compatibility of drugs of quinolones and theophylline(25.89%). 3. It is the most that the cases of ADR in central nervous system by the administration way of intravenous drip(44.37%); followed by oral administration(39.06%). In 1262 cases, it is the most that using the routine dose of drugs(59.98%); the using of large dose, overdose and small dose of drugs respectively accounted for 27.02%, 9.03%, 3.01%. 4. In this cases, it is a maximum of no previous history of nervous or mentaldiseases(89.14%), the basic diseases(or predisposing factors) ranked in the top 5 are respiratory system diseases(34.55%), cardiovascular diseases(16.96%), digestive system diseases(12.60%), nervous and mental diseases(11.89%) and encephalopathy(10.86%). 5. In 280 single drug varieties of this paper, there are a total of 96 species that engenderd 2 or 2 more central nervous system symptoms of ADR, which accounted for 33.80%.The drug which has the most symptoms most is isoniazid(7), followed by levofloxacin(6). 6. The ADR in central nervous system appeared in 24 hours later is the dominant(61.89%), and the cases of ADR appearing in 1 hours also occupy a larger proportion(21.39%). In 1262 cases, it is the most that cured by drugs(49.92%); followed by the cases of untreated with drugs(43.26%). In 546 cured cases without medication, 363 cases(66.48%) recorded the time required which patients recovered clearly, Thereinto, it is the most that cured within 24 hours(41.32%), and most of the cured cases are within 3 days(87.60%).CONCLUSIONS: 1. The patients that 60 years of age or older are more prone to arise the ADR in central nervous system after being taken the medicine. In addition to the three categories of basal diseases that are respiratory, digestive and cardiovascular, the patients suffering from nervous and mental diseases, cerebropathy or liver and kidney dysfunction in are more prone to causing ADR in central nervous system after medication. 2. The incidence rate of ADR in central nervous system by intravenous administration is the highest. The ADR in central nervous system occurs mostly in the conventional dose, The unreasonable drug use phenomenons that dripping speed too fast, high dose, dose, ultra long medication course are also the important reasons of causing ADR in central nervous system after taking medicines. The drugs with high rate of ADR in central nervous system are: anti-infection drugs, central nervous system drugs and hormone drugs etc. The compatibility of drugs also account for a considerable proportion.3. When the ADR in central nervous system occurred after medication, we should first take the withdrawal or reduction, slow speed, change the mode of administration and other measures. In most cases within 3 days, the symptoms of ADR in central nervous system can disappear.
