Objective:Preeclampsia is one of pregnancy specific disease, it is a serious threat to maternal and infant health.Until now, the pathogenic mechanism of RA is still unclear.A lot of data has suggested that autoimmune response and associated cytokines contribute to the pathogenesis in preeclampsia.By detecting the expression of IL-21,IL-22 in serum of patients with preeclampsia and normal pregnant women, provide a new method for diagnosing preeclampsia.Method:23 women with mild preeclampsia(mild group) and 30 women with severe preeclampsia(severe group) who admitted to the Department of Obstetrics, First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University were selected from April to August in 2014. 30 normal late pregnant women were selected over the same period as the control group. We check all the women’s serum level of IL-21 and IL-22 by Enzyme-linked immune sorbent assay.Results:1.The serum level of IL-21:IL-21 in the mild group’s serum and severe group’s serum was significantly higher than the control group respectively(P<0.05).The serum level of IL-21 in severe group was higher than mild group, but the difference that between the mild group and the severe group was not significant(P>0.05).2.Theserum level of IL-21:IL-22 in the mild group’s serum and severe group’s serum was also significantly higher than the control group respectively(P<0.05).The serum level of IL-22 in severe group was higher than mild group and the difference between the two groups was also significant(P<0.05).3.The correlated expression of IL-21 and IL-22 in Preeclampsia’s serum:Pearson correlation analysis results showed that there was not found a positive or negative correlation between serum IL-21 and IL-22 in preeclampsia patients. Conclusions:The serum level of IL-21, IL- 22 in patients with preeclampsia was increased significantly, suggesting that the serum level of IL-21, and IL-22 may have a certain relationship with the pathogenesis of preeclampsia and play an important role in the diagnosis and treatment of preeclampsia.
