Color Management On The Porcelain Veneers Restoration Of Mimic-serious Tetracycline Stained Teeth

Objective:The tetracycline stained abutment teeth color, ceramic transparency and thickness(IPS e.max Press), try-in paste is the four influencing factors of influence on color effect after repairation, for the porcelain veneers restoration of serious tetracycline stained teeth to provide clinical guidance and reference.Methods:Tetracycline tooth color data collected from clinical selected four groups of typical simulation data produced severe tetracycline teeth, color is defined as F1, F2, F3 and F4.As it a butment making IPS e.max Press HTA1, LTA1, MO1 porcelain veneers(n =5), there are two kinds of porcelain cover thickness(0.3 mm and 0.6 mm). Standard D65 light source, black and white background, with electronic colorimetric instrument measured in the control group(mimic tetracycline stained teeth), experiment group 1(between porcelain veneers and mimic tetracycline stained teeth with Variolink N TR try in paste), experimental group 2(between porcelain veneers and mimic tetracycline stained teeth with Variolink N BL try in paste) on the surface of the chromaticity parameters, evaluating by the international commission on illumination 1976 L* a * b *standard colorimetric. Calculate â–³L*(Lightness difference),â–³E(Empfindung)between control group and experimental group, and TP(Translucency Parameter)of experimental group, the results carry on the four factors factorial design analysis of variance and LSD- t test, inspection level of alpha = 0.05.Results:1. the four factors variance analysis results show that the abutment teeth color, porcelain transparency and thickness, try the color paste is tonal for repair after poor brightness,color and translucency parameters are statistically significant, the influence of and interaction between these four factors(P < 0.05).2. LSD- t test showed that in the abutments color group, the F4 group ofâ–³ L*,â–³ E is the largest, second order for the F3, F2, F1, and the differences between the four groups have statistical significance(P < 0.05);F4 group TP is the largest, second is F2 group, F1,F3 group in turn;F1 and F2 group, the average difference between F1 and F3 group has no statistical significance(P > 0.05), the average difference between the rest of the group have statistical significance(P < 0.05). In the ceramic transparency groups, try-in paste MO1 group of â–³L*,â–³E, the largest difference between the three groups have statistical significance(P < 0.05);LTA1 group TP is maximum, then followed by MO1, HTA1group;Including the average difference between MO1 and HTA1 group has no statistical significance(P > 0.05), the average difference between the rest of the group have statistical significance(P < 0.05). In the ceramic thickness groups, ceramic thickness of0.6 mm group of â–³L*,â–³E is bigger, the difference between 0.3 mm and 0.6 mm group had statistical significance(P < 0.05);0.6 mm group of TP is less than 0.3 mm group of translucency, the difference between the two groups have statistical significance(P <0.05).In the try-in paste group, BL group of â–³L*,â–³E is greater than the TR groups, TR TP is greater than the BL group, the average difference between two groups have statistical significance(P < 0.05).Conclusion:1. Abutments color, transparency and thickness of porcelain veneers, try in paste influence the color of the two lithium silicate glass ceramic cover after repairation.2. Serious tetracycline stained teeth or badly discolored teeth porcelain cover repair, it is recommended to use 0.6 mm IPS E.max Press MO1 porcelain pieces, and through IPSVariolink N BL in bleached white binder can achieve good effect, to increase the repair teeth stereo feeling, suggest adding a certain thickness of enamel.
