| The doctor-patient relationship issue concerning the vital interests of people is a hot issue in recent years. Our society cannot fully meet our people’s diverse medical demands in existing medical conditions. Increase in medical malpractice cases has highlighted the tensions of doctor-patient relationship. Deteriorating in the doctor-patient relationship caused decreasing in doctor-patient confidence. The doctor-patient relationship is the root cause of the crisis of confidence affecting the development of China’s medical and health services.Research on doctor-patient trust is necessary to improve doctor-patient relationship, and also to promote the development of health care.Based on the Social Credit Theory and Theory of Information Asymmetries, the resesarch makes an empirical analysis to the real cases of the medical disputes of four different hospitals in Guangdong Province, all of which took place from 2011 to 2015. It analysizes the status of Doctor-patient trust crisis,including the tense relation and the low trust between doctors and patients,the increase of medical conflicts and disputes,the disatisfaction towards to the medical status from the doctors and the patients, patients maintainning their legal rights irrationally.The paper tries to analysize the factors and conditions of the trust crisis bewteen doctors and patients from three aspects of medical sides,the patient side and the social side, learning the expirience from Japan, the USA and the UK,to explore the countermeasures to improve the doctor-patient relationship and re-establish the doctor-patient trust.The result of the research indicates that the reconstruction of relationship between doctors and patients mainly relies on the cooperation of different factors.That is, the government should improve the medical security system and increase the medical expense to the hospital so as to improve the development of the hospitals, optimize the allocation of the resources to alleviate the constraction between the medical supply and demand. Meanwhile,government should strengthen policy guidance and law-enforcing supervision and regulate the media and public opinions.The hospitals should attach importance to the traning of the staff,enhance the transparency of medical services, improve the administration itself and the training mode of the medial students and better the communication system between patients and hospitals. From the patients’ part, they should imporove their quality and cultivation,know the laws and abide by them and try to understand and repect the medical staff and their effort. |
