Objective To investigate the value of Tumor Markers combined with 18F-FDG PET/CT in detecting NSCLC recurrence and metastasis after therapy. Methods 95 NSCLC patients were enrolled in the program, all the patients underwent PET/CT scan after more than 3 months after therapy. Serum CEA and PET/CT scan of all patient were examined after therapy,70 patients performed the examination of CYFRA21-1 at the same time. The intervals between PET/CT scan and the examination of Tumor Marker was within one week. The final diagnosis were confirmed by histopathology and clinical follow-up, and in this group we followed up for at least 6 months. Results 1.The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, PPV and NPV of PET/CT in detecting recurrence and(or)metastasis were higher than the Tumor Marker group, the difference was significant(P<0.05).2.The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, PPV and NPV of PET/CT combined with Tumor Markers were higher than the single examination, the accuracy difference was significant(P<0.05);3.The Tumor Markers and PET/CT have good correlation, and the correlation was efficient, r=0.63;4.All subjects were grouped by different CEA value, the positive rate of PET/CT imaging was more higher when the CEA elevated more obvious.5.8 patients have dual-phase imaging,4 cases were diagnosed recurrence and(or)metastasis by pathology, the PET/CT diagnosed all. Conclusions 1.The using of Tumor markers combing with PET/CT can greatly improve the relevance ration in detecting NSCLC recurrence and metastasis after therapy and worth of clinical application.2.There was a certain correlation between tumor markers and PET/CT, there was an important clinical value for the patients to perform PET/CT scan when the Tumor Marker was beyond the normal range.
