Objective By comparing the ultrasound ablation the uterine fibroid patients with abdominal wall scar with and without preoperative use of ultrasound contrast agents SonoVue therapeutic effect and adverse reaction,to evaluate of preoperative line of microbubble ultrasound contrast agents Sono Vue in uterine fibroid patients with abdominal wall scar efficacy and safety. Methods From November 2011 to May 2015, 133 patients referred for ultrasound ablation treatment of uterine fibroid with abdominal wall scar at the Suining Central Hospital of Sichuan were retrospectively reviewed. Among them, according to with and without preoperative use of ultrasound contrast agents SonoVue to divide into two groups, one of 87 patients with preoperative ultrasound imaging examination, the another group of 46 cases of patients are without preoperative ultrasound imaging examination. Line through the postoperative ultrasonic imaging and analysis its NPV, ablation rate,EEF and so on. And compare therapeutic effect, and the incidence of adverse reactions in two groups of patientsduring and after the procedure. Results 1. No significantly difference in average non-perfused volume, ablation rate and Energy-Efficiency Factor between the group with and without preoperative use of ultrasound contrast agents was observed(P>0.05). But NPV and ablation rate of the Angiography group are higher than the another group, besides EEF of the Angiography group is lower than the another group. 2. No significantly difference in incidence rates of adverse effects during and right after the procedure between the two group was observed(P>0.05). However, Angiography group appear a little higher possibility to appear skin damage after the procedure. And the vaginal discharge are more likely to happen in the angiography group in 3days after the procedure(P<0.05).Conclusion 1. The preoperative use of ultrasound contrast agents has no significantly influence on the effectiveness of ultrasound ablation treatment for uterine fibroid. 2. The preoperative use of ultrasound contrast agents may cause higher rate of vaginal discharge in patients in the first 3days after ultrasound ablation treatment, but with number of preventive measures and actively symptomatic treatment, the prognosis of vaginal discharge was good, without serious adverse consequences. Therefore, ultrasound ablation is a safe treatment for uterine fibroid patients with abdominal wall scar in preoperative use of ultrasound contrast agents.
