Atrial fibrillation(AF) is the most common cardiac arrhythmia. With the growth of age, the morbidity of AF will increase. It would lead to the dysfunction of the atrial and even induce or exacerbate heart failure. On the other hand, It would icrease the risk of stroke. Nowadays Radiofrequency ablation(RFCA) procedures are increasingly being performed for patients with medically refractory, symptomatic AF. Because RFCA would conversion from AF to sinus rhythm, and it would injure the endocardium and myocardium, It is associated with a significant risk of thromboembolism, Anticoagulation management could play a role in the incidence of thromboembolism. Most of the thromboembolic events occurred within the first 2 weeks after RFCA,So the anticoagulation management seems particularly important in the early stage after RFCA. Warfarin Is not needed in low-Risk patients after RFCA procedures? Efficacy and safety of novel oral anticoagulant( NOAC) Compared With Warfarin in Patients undergoing RFCA for Atrial Fibrillation. it is safe to discontinue anticoagulation in the late stage after RFCA? This paper will introduce about the latest research of the anticoagulation after RFCA.
