Objective: To evaluate the clinical effects of intravitreal injection of Conbercept in the treatment of neovascular glaucoma. Methods: A total number of 55 patients with 66 eyes of NVG were retrospective analyzed and divided into two groups, A group including 25 patients with 31 eyes accepted intravitreal injection of Conbercept combined traditional treatments, while B group including the other 30 patients with 35 eyes only accepted the traditional treatments including PRP(Panretinal photocoagulation, PRP) and glaucoma filtering operation. The sick eyes were divided into different clinical stages according to the severity. The clinical effects of two different therapies in the treatment of different stages of NVG were analyzed by comparing the evaluation factors of before and after the treatment of 1 day, 7 days, 1 month, 3 months and the final follow-up, and the evaluation factors including BCVA(Best corrected visual acuity, BCVA), IOP( intraocular pressure, IOP), INV(iris neovascularization,INV) and treatment of complications etc. Results: Patients with NVG stage 1 and 2 in A group had more significant improvement of BCVA as compared with patients in B group(p<0.05),while there is no significant difference between the two groups of patients with NVG stage 3(p>0.05). Patients with NVG stage 2 and 3 in A group had more significant decrease of IOP after the treatment of 1week, 1 month and 3 month as compared with patients in B group(p<0.05),however there is no significant difference between the two groups in IOP in the final follow-up(p>0.05). When compared with B group, patients in A group had more significant effects in the extinction of INV after the treatment of 1 month, 3 month and the final follow-up.Conclusion: Conbercept combined traditional treatment is safe, effective and better than simple traditional treatment for patients with neovascular glaucoma in the improvement of BCVA, decrease of IOP, extinction of INV.
