The Establishment And Application Of Early Systematic Bowel Management Program On Anorectal Malformation(ARM):A Clinic Research

ObjectiveTo research the influence on bowel function of early and systematic bowel management with Anorectal Malformation(ARM).MethodsStudy and establish a bowle management program by Delphi method.The study was conducted in a children’s hospital in Chongqing, 67 cases of children diagnosed with ARM were divided into control group and intervention group.1 Routine nursing education was given to control group.2 Early and systematic bowel management was given to intervention group by telephone follow-up or outpatient follow-up, including education of anal dilatation, diet management, toilet training,psychological care et al. investigating and questionnaires3 Data was collected by investigating and defecation function(3-6month after operation) of children.1 Systematic bowel management program had a significant impact on defecation function(U=276.0,P=0.038).2 Systematic bowel management program had a positive significance on diet management and toilet training education.ConclusionThere were significant impact on diet management, compliance of toilet training and defecation function after bowel management. Early and systematic bowel management is necessary, viable and positive on improving defection function of children with ARM, worth clinical promotion.
