Group 1: group with coronary heart disease and depression in 58 cases. Group 2: group with coronary heart disease without depression in 98 cases. The data on the score of Gensini, the degree of coronary artery stenosis and the number of stenosis vessels were analysed between the two group by SPSS.Results The detection rate of depression in coronary heart disease patients is 37.2%. the score of Gensini of group 1 were significantly higher than those of group 2. however, the biggest degree of coronary stenosis and the number of lesion vessel don’t have significantly difference. the score of Gensini were related with depression. Conclusions The prevalence of depression in patients with coronary heart disease is high, the severity of coronary atherosclerosis in coronary heart disease with depression was increased.
