Application Of Three Kinds Of Clinical Dressings For Wound Treatment

Medical dressing refers to materials that are used to cover the wound, its main effect is to effectively control wound exudate and prevent wound contamination by dust particles and bacterial infections. Novel wound dressing, silver dressing and biological dressing are currently the most widely used three dressings in wound treatment. Novel dressing comprises natural high molecular dressing, synthetic macromolecule dressing, composite dressing and tissue engineering dressing, they have their own advantages and disadvantages. Silver dressing has the features of broad-spectrum antimicrobial, and it has high disinfection efficiency and is not easy to have anti-drug features, and has good continued bactericidal effect, but the disadvantage of it is that it has biological characteristics. The biological dressing mainly comprises natural biological dressing, synthetic dressing and drug containing dressing. Some of biological dressings are coincident with the novel dressings. Different types of biological dressings have different effects, but according to the actual clinical needs and cleanliness of the wound, different biological dressings have their limitations. In order to provide research foundation for an ideal dressing, this paper would mainly summarize the three widely applied wound dressings.
