Introduction chapter describes the origins and significance, and the academic dynamics of this research. I will make careful pectination about the academic history in four aspects—the circumstance of series Shizi, the detection of forgeries, the discussion of some idea fragments, and the analysis of Shizi’s academic property, and hope that through the review and analysis of these research results, to provide references for this research on the one hand, and help the location of research view and development of the field on the other hand. The first chapter is the introduction of the basic content of Shizi. According to relevant historical records, learning the results of previous studies, and by contacting the specific social background and academic background, I analyze such issues as the life, nationality and authenticity of Shi Jiao, and then put forward my own views. The more important content is the authenticity of the book Shizi. The second chapter is the analysis of academic thought attribute of Shizi. Starting from analyzing ideological content of Shizi, it discusses Huang-Lao Taoism School property of Shizi from three aspects:one is the "Taoism" thought in Shizi, i.e. which is " Tao oriented" thought, and also the analysis of some features of "Tao"; the second is" combining Confucian and Mohism, consisting of the School of Names and Legalism." i.e. the "mixed" part of thoughts in Shizi; the third is how to creatively apply "Taoism" in the field of governing a country, i.e. "The ruler’s art of south ", to meet the needs of uniting a country. And this chapter will try to explore the similarity between Shizi and another representative book of Huang-Lao Taoism " Master Lu’s Spring and Autumn Annals".The third chapter mainly discourses that Shizi is a representative work of Northern Huang-Lao Taoism. First, it will discuss North-South differences of pre-Qin scholarism, that is, North leans to practicality but South leans to imagination, and then it will discourse from three aspects:the first, seeing from school style, it is heavily influenced by Confucian ritual culture, and it is people-centered, talking about ancient sages such as the Yellow Emperor, Yao-Shtm-Yu etc, showing a practical and utilitarian characteristics; the second, to a great extent, Northern Huang-Lao Taoism is a transformation from academic to political, having a deep political color of official ruling technique in the way of world; the third, from the understanding of "Taoism".Conclusion chapter will summarize the whole paper, and combining with other legacy which the book Shizi brings to us, explain that we must attach importance to the excavation and inheritance of its ideological content, and explain its meaning and value.
