In Chinese modern history, Li Huang is known as the founder of the Chinese Youth Party, his status as a scholar is always been ignored. Although his life focused largely on political activities, but during the period studying in France and teaching in some domestic universities, he has made a contribution to the dissemination of modern French academic in China, especially methodology of history and sociology theory.Besides, his translation and research on French Sinology in different periods also contributed to the academic circles.This paper focus on Li Huang’s academic practice in history, sociology, and Sinology, in order to show his role in the cultural exchange between China and France,also his own experience of academic practice, while trying to make him a typical to analysis the success and failure of the same type of scholars in the academic group.The main body of this paper consists of five parts, the introduction of academic history of related research were reviewed, in order to explain for there is much to be improved in the research on his academic practice, taking this as the background, the first chapter has a introduction of Li Huang’s school experiences and academic activities, which can show a overall view to the image of a scholar Li Huang; the second chapter, the third chapter and the fourth chapter give expression to the academic practices of Li Huang and his gains and losses respectively from the perspectives of history, sociology and French Sinology three angles, which would show his contribution to the spread of French academic in China, as well as the achievements he created.
