Euphemism is a mode of expression that exists in all cultures, it plays an im-portant role in people’s daily communication, if you use euphemisms successfulcommunication, naturally both sides happy, if you do not use euphemisms to offendthe other side, it is possible cause embarrassment, misunderstanding and even con-flict. Euphemism for the Uighur and Han are very important, the two nations haveboth similarities euphemism differences, similarities that the two peoples for sometaboo, morals, customs, etc. all have similar likes and dislikes, except that the Hanpeople more clearly likes and dislikes for the digital aspect, but more demanding forUighur religious. In this paper, through the study of modern Chinese and Uighur si-milarities euphemism for a certain dimension of the Chinese euphemism from afunctional and comparative analysis with the language of euphemism characteristicsto identify similarities and differences, and finally the two languages and cultures inEuphemism with characteristics were analyzed.
