The atmosphere of mass incidents and the rationality of the college students toparticipate in and the school’s handing is relations closely. This study explores therelations by questionnaire method. It’s survey309university students randomly. Thename of the questionnaire is 《the relations of mass incidents atmosphere infection,college students to participate in and the school’s handing》. The results are processedby the date processing software SPSS17.0, and the structure validity can be gotthrough the factor analysis. The results show that, the atmosphere infection of massincidents of the college students is in the medium level, the participation of massincidents rationality is in medium high level, the college students to participate in themass incidents is not completely irrational behavior, but by the development processfrom bounded rationality to the irrational. By using the T test we can see that theuniversity students have a significant difference to participate in the mass incidentsbefore and after the school’s handing. The infections of atmosphere have a certaininfluence on the university students to participate in the mass incidents throughstepwise regression analysis. The atmosphere infection of mass incidents on collegestudents’ interpersonal support factor and the emotional infection factors for collegestudents to participate in have negative prediction function; the school’s handing has acertain extent about the adjusting of the college students to participate in the massincidents. The school should be in the mass incidents when it in a higher orders whichthe college students to participate in and solved successfully in order to make thebehavior to upgrade.
