China,"founded on agriculture," is country which has a long history on farmingand cultural traditions, thousands of years of ancient Chinese cultivation of land andattachment to life, formed its unique oriental farming civilization, have nourished thegrowth of oriental culture. After a century of development and changes, Chinesepainting has evolved from relatively simple unconscious development model intotoday’s diversified development model conscious. The long history of farmingcivilization of China has provided fertile soil for native theme paintings to grow inChina’s development, and make it occupies an important position in the modernChinese painting. After a century of modern changes, today’s China is still mainly anagricultural country with a large population, local paintings seemingly still continueshine, however, faced with globalization, urbanization, the image of the impact,local development in contemporary Chinese oil painting is very difficult. Faced withsuch a situation of Chinese contemporary native theme, local artists painting shouldnot feel fear, but should be smug painting to explore the development of new localroads in the contemporary social context. As a member which is engaged in oilpainting theme, the author in this article starts from the creative artist’s body toexplore the constraints or corresponding relationship between it and the world (socialand natural), works and readers, then use its emotional cues to find a new way oflocal development in contemporary Chinese painting. Representatives of modernWestern artistic expression present, Collingwood, said that the essence of art isemotion, is the emotional performance. The art is a form of human emotionalexpression, and Chinese painting as an art form native also carries the sameemotional expression of local artists, so systematic study of Chinese local artistsnative emotional expression is the main content of this paper. Chinese painting is theartist’s native integration process of Western painting language, traditional Chineseculture and aesthetic sense, while emotional expression and artistic language closelyrelated. Through the past30years native language case study, it is not difficult to find that local development towards localization and diversified language. Therefore,in this paper the author analyzes the basis of modern Western theory of emotionalexpression and traditional Chinese aesthetics of emotional factors, make theexploration of emotional expression and the local native paintings language as aresearch priority. This paper uses the performance of local emotion as clues toexplore the essence of Chinese native emotional expression, development and therelationship between art and language, trying to make contribution of thedevelopment of Chinese contemporary native themes and the development ofChinese contemporary oil painting.
