Hexi corridor during the sixteen Kingdoms period, the mural of tomb is animportant part of China funerary art, it provides abundant historical materials for us tounderstand the sixteen Kingdoms in the Hexi Corridor Region in this period of history,especially the mural of tomb brick’inscriptions gives us more specific interpretationof the historical period,and provides a new perspective of social history in Hexiregion.Based on the sixteen nations of Wei and Jin Dynasties in Hexi Corridor tombbrick’inscriptions as the research object, to collect, collate and interpretation ofpainting like a brick’inscriptions as the main task during Wei Jin and sixteenKingdoms. The Dunhuang areas, Jiayuguan areas, Jiuquan areas and Gaotai areas,these areas of brick’inscriptions problem list sorting, expressed historical informationfrom the Written word interpretation, historical background, research objects, folkcustom beliefs.baseed on Hexi corridor brick’inscriptions, summarizes the rules andacademic value. Hexi corridor during the sixteen Kingdoms brick’inscriptionsmainly concentrated in four aspects the owner of the tomb, and the identification ofobjects, characters and stories, work’words. These contents have complementaryhistorical role in the study of economic history,political history, social history.The brick’inscriptions gives us breakthrough, with a hope to the Hexi corridorduring the sixteen kingdongs in history and culture have a more comprehensiveunderstanding of. For example brick’inscriptions reflects the ideology and culture.theHexi Corridor in the Wei and Jin and sixteen kingdongs brick’inscriptions effectedfrom Han Dynasty, the people’view on the gods,death and ghost influence eachother.So, the brick’inscriptions with Furui of Han Dynasty thoughts, the high life ofsixteen Kingdoms period,the reflect the belief of "Li Guang" worship. through thecollation and study of Hexi Corridor brick’inscriptions, with a hope to understandingChinese history more comprehensive.
