The Ci-Poetry declined between Yuan and Ming Dynasty. It did′t come to lifeuntil Qing Dynasty. So many Ci-Factions had come forth during that time. They allshown brilliant results. ZheXi Ci-Faction sunk into a decline but ChanZhouCi-Faction grew up in the late of Qing Dynasty. Jiang Chunlin was a distinguishedCi-Poem in this period. He could slip the leash and develop his own style. He wasborn in the wartime. So he was a witness of the war and the suffering. His Ci-Poemwas anxious about the security of the nation and common people. He used theCi-Poetry to record the history and inspire others.Jiang Chunlin has170Ci-Poetry(Shui Yun Building Ci) and94poetry((Shui Yun Building poetry). Although it was a small quantity of his poems. Interms of the connotations of the theme and the art features, His poems had a greatvalue for the study. The theme of his poems included the suffering,commompeople′life and his painful experience during the wartime. His poems was pointed andprofound, he used the euphemisms to express implicit emotion. His art skills werevarious, such as polish the language, creat the artistic conception. The language in hispoems were elegant and profound.This thesis consists of five parts. Introduction: To comb the clues about JiangChunlin. Chapter One: To introduce Jiang Chunlin′s life and his friends. ChapterTwo:To analyze Jiang Chunlin′s mentality. Chapter Three:To research Shui YunBuilding poetry. Chapter Four:To research Shui Yun Building Ci′s connotations of thetheme and art features. Epilogue:To summarize Jiang Chunlin′s contribution andinfluence in Qing Dynasty.Jiang Chunlin encountered a lot of difficulties. But his poems were passionateand desolate. The poems were filled with the love for nation and commom people. Hispoetry and Ci-Poetry had own art features. In the artistic attainments, Jiang Chunlindepicted the miseries of war with deep emotion. His poems did′t lost of elegant, freefrom vulgarity and undermeaning. Majority of his poems had a far-reaching theme.In short, From the artistic attainments of his poems. We can make a conclusion that Jiang Chunlin is an outstanding representative of Ci-Poem in Qing Dynasty.
