The Research Of Feng Shui Master And People's View Of Feng Shui In The West Of Fujian

The ancestors of the Central Plains migrated to the South,and at the same time,they brought the ancient Feng Shui to the west of Fujian.It spread so far by combing with the local social customs and becoming a traditional folk belief.In contemporary society of the West of Fujian,Feng Shui activities are still prevalent.This situation is inseparable from the heritage and promotion of its practitioners — Feng Shui Master.However,current academia researched little about this critical role,which is harmful to us understand so profound Feng Shui knowledge.Feng Shui Master is a very special occupational group,they are mysterious since ancient times.With the rise of “Feng Shui Upsurge”,they are active in every corner of western Fujian and received extensive attention.This paper based on the investigation of field visits,objectively described the basic situation,practitioners range,practitioners tools,knowledge transfer and other aspects of the Feng Shui Master in western Fujian,revealed their true living conditions in contemporary society.At the same time,adhering to the principle of seeking truth from facts and advance with the times,author investigated the scientific outlook and superstition part on Feng Shui of Feng Shui Master in contemporary western Fujian and made rational analysis.By this way,author want to help people to further demystify contemporary western Fujian?s Feng Shui Master,and build more specific group image of them.In addition,because of western Fujian?s long history of Feng Shui,this paper also investigated the present people?s concepts of Feng Shui there,in order to understand the people?s level of faith and understanding of Feng Shui,as well as views on the current Feng Shui industry.To further explore the ingrained Feng Shui cultural there and its impact on modern society,author also pay attention to Feng Shui activies in ancient villages and contemporary real estate.By doing this,author want to guide people to look at Feng Shui in the scientific perspective and dialectical thinking.
