Thanks to the development of modern science and technology,multimedia and PPT courseware have become a more and more popularteaching aid in both foreign language teaching and Business Englishwriting teaching. Many studies have been done have proved that PPTcourseware plays a positive role in improving students’ attention,memory, and learning achievement.Targeted at the junior students majored in Business Administrationin the school of Business, XISU as research subjects. The author of thethesis uses questionnaires, informal interview and classroom observationsto get feedbacks about the students’ attitude towards PPT courseware, toinvestigate the relation between multimodal pedagogy and students’learning enthusiasm the thesis uses SPSS11.0Independent SamplesT-Test to measure and analyze students’ academic records under differentpedagogies used by the teacher in different classes during a wholesemester.The results from qualitative and quantitative studies indicate thatmost students refer PPT courseware in Business English writing class asit can serve as an effective tool to arouse students learning enthusiasmand improve their learning achievement in Business English writing. Thisthesis not only provides implications for teachers who teach BusinessEnglish writing but also implies instructive meaning in multimodal PPT designing.
