Based on the reality of internet being increasingly integrated into people’s dailylife, and by Marx’s theory of alienation, the thesis aims to analyze the alienationphenomena, which has deviated from man’s original intention of establishing andapplying internet in the development of electric network, and to try to explore whyand how the internet that was created to serve human has gradually turned itsinventors into the controlled and enslaved objects. Grounded in the rapiddevelopment of information technology, and as a new phenomena, the networkdissimilation has new subjects and new ways of contact differing from the traditionalindustrial society. The network dissimilation is defined in individual and socialaspects. The essence of the network dissimilation is the alienation of human nature.Human become materialized because they rely too much on the network or, we can say, they are even controlled by the network. In the final analysis, network dissimilation isthe alienation of various social relations among people. While analyzing the diversified forms of network dissimilation, the paperfocuses on the subject of network, network value and traditional value, and from theanalysis of these three aspects, the author points out that network dissimilation arecaused by “the cage of technology”, social reasons and network subjects themselves.Network dissimilation is, in fact, a new form and a new phase of the development oftechnology dissimilation. At last, according to Marx’s theory about human’s free and comprehensivedevelopment, and through the analysis of the dialectical relationship between the freedevelopment and all-round development from the perspective of network development, the paper points out that alienation is the opposite of freedom, that free developmentis the premise and basis for all-round development, and that the degree of realizationof all-round development, in turn, affect the free development. To achieve the freeand all-round development in the network world, we must improve the networkinfrastructure construction, which is the material basis and the technical support ofnetwork development; we must improve the quality of network subjects, strengthenthe moral self-discipline; and with the people-oriented and netizen-oriented spirit, we must speed up the network legislation and maintain the balance between freedom andorder without endangering the healthy development of the network.
