Ninety years has past since the year1922when the first animation film born inChina. Chinese animation passed four stages, from germination to glorious, Finallyinto silence. Time recorded the pace of Chinese animation, also witnessed thesplendid time of Chinese animation.Te Wei, who started his career from comic, finally devoted all his life intoanimation. Chinese animation creators and artists insisted on his guiding ideology"Adhere to the national development path to create Chinese animation", they created aserious of animation films that represented the highest level of animation in the world.In Te Wei’s unique style, he pursued national character and teaching throughentertaining, He combined Traditional aesthetics with advanced productiontechnology. As an unique skill, Chinese Water-Ink Animation has once amazed theworl, because, it included the aesthetic pursuit and Chinese Classical Philosophy. TeWei is not only the pride of Chinese animation but also a shinning star in the sky ofworld animation. After Te Wei left us, we should come into inheritance his idea, createChinese animation and make our works been seen all over the world.So it is valuable for us to analasis Te Wei’s animation works and study form hisanimation style.
