Mo Yan won the2012Nobel Prize for literature, which plays a positive role inpromoting the soft power of Chinese culture and shaping a new image of Chinese.However, as a Chinese writer, Mo Yan couldn’t win the prize for Nobel without thecontribution of numerous translators. In other words, the external communication forChinese culture owes to the translation work, and the interpreter is the cultural guardiansand propagandist. The author chose Mo Yan’s address in2012Nobel Prize for literature asthe consecutive interpreting practice material, under the guidance of the interpretive theory,which aimed at attempting to explore the influence factors in Chinese Englishinterpretation and practice the interpretation of various skill of linear interpretation throughthe analysis of analog recording data. I hope that through the practice of the interpretation,not only can my level of interpretation get further improved, but also provide reference forother interpreters.This thesis is mainly divided into four parts. The first chapter is the introduction,illustrating the purpose of this simulation interpreting; the second chapter is the preparationbefore interpreting, pointing out the preparation for the interpreting practice; the thirdchapter is the interpreting part of the report, elaborating the analysis of recording material;the fourth chapter is the conclusion, summarizing the experience and shortcoming of thissimulation interpreting practice.
