The Book of Songs is a five hundred years countless author’s extraordinary creativegathering in Zhou dynasty. Both the nobility of their authors, but also the commonpeople; both powerful minister, but also frustrated officials; both outside soldiers, alsothe aggrieved woman at home. Different types of groups have demonstrated thedifferent living conditions, ideas, emotional experience. This article is intend to studyauthor’s type in The Book of Songs as the main object, the thesis is divided into fourparts:The first part discuss the common author of the lower groups. Analysis was lowerpeople’s living conditions and desires. Lower common people is mainly engaged inagricultural production and management, must undertake the lord, tax obligations.Besides the lower classes rich social life is also worth exploring. This part focuses onthe analysis composition of lower author group, Analysis of their emotions such assorrows, joys and worries.The second part discuss the lower officials of the author group. Investigate theirpolitical and economic situation. Though they are in the ruling class, they are busy intedious work and their salary is scanty. Therefore, some officials blamed by family.They are exhausted inside and outside. Lower official author in The Book of songsreflect as historiographer, music officers, Ordinary identity of the lower beadle,scholars, pedestrians and so on. This section seeks to reveal the mentality and valueorientation of the middle and lower groups of official authors.The third part research on the upper noble authors. They enjoy high status andprivileges. The upper nobility are displayed obviously grade difference and etiquettenorms in the court, ancestral temple, treat, daily life. But they also have differences,contradictions. Combining of text, background, status reveals consciousness,objectives of the noble authors works.The fourth part summarizes the overall the common times characteristics amongthese authors. They have the common characteristics of wide area, long time rangeand multiple identities.
