A Study On The Traditional Filial Culture And Family Pension Model Reconstruction

The filial culture is one important part of Chinese tradition culture.People use the culture of “filial piety” to adjust the families’ relationships harmonious in long period. The conception of respect, reverence and caring of the senior is prevail in whole society and is rooted in many families.The proprieties and pension system which keeps the families and the society harmonious make the senior people supported and provided. That provides a crucial solution on the pension for the senior people which are virtuous norms and principles followed by everyone. With the time going on, the traditional standards of pension has a great change. There are some deficiencies showing in the being methods of family pension which are impacted greatly by the high speed economic. There are many causes for the deficiency of family pension for the aged in the society transition period while it is still one basic method to the pension. We need to remedy the deficiencies of the family pension by adopting other methods and measures, fully taking advantages of the positive role in the filial culture. The special role of the family pension makes the aged spend their remain days happily and enjoy the family happiness.The first part explains the conception, the connotation and the features of traditional filial culture.
