In recent years, with the deepening of the research on Chinese grammar, thereare more and more researches on Chinese dialect syntax in academia, and fruitfulresults have been achieved. However, the region of researches on dialect syntax is stillnarrow, so lots of blanks are left in this field.Located in the southeast of Shandong Province, Ju county belongs to Rizhao city.Ju dialect is in the transition zone of Jiaoliao, Jilu, Jianghuai and ZhongyuanMandarins, characterized with Jiaoliao Mandarin as a northern Mandarin. Ju dialectsyntax has strong local features. Based on field investigation, this paper aims atdescribing special syntactic phenomena and syntactic characteristics of Ju dialectcomparing with Mandarin syntax, and enriching the research of dialect grammar.The paper contains six chapters: the first chapter is the introduction, whichintroduces the geography, population and history of Ju county, and describes thephonetic system of Ju dialect,stating the research status of Juxian dialect and thesignificance, research objects, research methods and data sources; the second chapterresearches special phrases in Ju dialect; the third chapter studies common sentences inJu dialect, including disposal sentences, passive sentences, and comparative sentences;the fourth chapter is the sentences ’ type-function studies, with declarative, imperative,exclamatory and interrogative sentences included; the fifth chapter is the compositesentences study, including complex sentence, multiple sentence and compressedsentence; the sixth chapter is the conclusion, summarizing the thesis, concludingsyntactic features of Juxian dialect, and summing up shortages of the paper.
