Survey Of Friendly Relations Between Mongolian-Sino(1949-1966)

Mongolia is geographically sandwiched country between two big neighbors, China and Russia, shares4710kilometer borderline with China. Mongolia has established a diplomatic relations with China in Oct.16,1949. Since that time till the early sixties we have experienced our most friendly relations based on socialism and the Marxist-Leninist ideology.This dissertation systematically inspected on People’s Republic of Mongolia and the People’s Republic of China friendly relations between1949-1966, demonstrates and analyzes the aspects related to Mongolian-Chinese state visits, economic, cultural, technical and other agreements, as well as exchanges and other activities. It shows that this period is the "golden era" of Mongolian and Chinese political, economic and cultural relations. The two country have signed Economic and Cultural Cooperation Agreement in1952, A Treaty of Friendship and Mutual Assistance in1960, also signed a Border Treaty in1962.From the mid of1960ies over20years the two countries have despite some twists and turn till the end of the Cold War, cause of Sino-Soviet tensions, Mongolia got closely imitated the Soviet policies which was not the choice of the people’s. Neighborliness and friendship have always remained the mainstream of Mongolian-Chinese relations. That time is the fundamental of nowadays strong and friendly relations between Mongolia and China.
