"Ping sha luo yan" is a piece of classic traditional pipa music. This paper mainly studies the character of the composition and the performance of Yang Dajun’s version. Through the analysis of its music style, its harmonic simulation, its rich musical performance and its playing techniques and other aspects of its artistic features, the performers could have a more comprehensive understanding of its musical features, thus providing a clear context for a better performing. The only way to perform it well is to have an accurate grasp of the performing style and emotional expression. In that case we can express its deep musical connotations through performing. |
