The visual system all the time receives a lot of stimulation, because attentional resources are limited, the visual system can only select and process limited information. Previous studies have shown that visual attention may choose abrupt onset or it may follow a subjective intent or working memory task in target selection. Spoken language is an important way for people to communicate, is a key feature distinguishing humans from other animals. Note that the interaction between language and visual information is a hot area of research in cognitive psychology, in which the content of spoken language guidance of visual attention is more interested in a subject’s cognitive psychologist. This study will introduce intentionality criterion to explore the role of automatic guided spoken language of visual attention, using visual context paradigm, combining spoken Chinese stimulus and meaningful objects that cross-channel image information recorded by eye tracking technology, it is no longer asked to try to keep the spoken information in working memory, and verbal interference stimulation and visual attention tasks unrelated field of view objects will affect oral mentioned visual attention. The study included three experiments a single factor repeated experiments designed to study the subjects mentioned in the oral visual picture of the target object (consistent condition) or mention visuals interfering object (incongruent condition), to be tested in two an object in an object’s color changes to detect eye movement initiated by the impact. The second experiment is repeated using single-factor experimental design, the exclusion of the effects of spatial cues, the study subjects mentioned in the spoken language of visual interference screen objects (presentation condition) or mentioned in the visual screen is not rendered objects (control condition), for four objects were tested to detect changes in eye movement initiated by the impact of the object color. Single factor experiment was repeated experiments designed to study the subjects mentioned in the oral visual picture of the target object (congruent), visual disturbances screen objects (incongruent condition), or referred to the visual screen is not rendered objects (baseline condition) when using three, to be tested to identify the direction of movement of the object in the response of the manual.Experimental results when oral mention a target object than the mentioned interference when the screen object, the subjects of the eye of the target object moving initiated more slowly. When the results of the second experiment, oral mention interference objects than the picture presented is not mentioned objects, the subjects of the eye of the target object moving more slowly initiated, indicating that visual attention toward the object automatically spoken earlier. The results of three experiments show that compared with the baseline condition, when the target object is again spoken to said moving direction of the object to identify the lowest error rate and a faster response, interfering object when said slowest moving direction of the object to identify the reaction of and the error rate is the highest.Comprehensive three experimental results the following conclusions:(1) experimental study found irrelevant to the task of spoken words will affect the implementation of visual tasks of visual attention will be automatically referred to the visual screen captures spoken objects.(2) Spoken language mentioned objects automatically guide for visual attention is not based on the spatial location of visual attention, visual attention is object-based model.(3) Spoken language of visual tasks mentioned operation target object, and receive priority processing more fully when spoken visuals interference mentioned objects will hinder the operation of visual tasks.
