Now, with the method of questionnaire and interview, this study discusses the retired old man of hope, social support and the basic situation and characteristics of the quality of life, Eight analysis of demographic variables, respectively to the university of retired people hope, effect of the influence of social support and quality of life, Discuss the retired old man,tihs, the relationship between hope and social support, hope and life quality, the relationship between social support and the quality of life, To further explore the inner logical relationship between the three and its mechanism of action. So as to the quality of life of the elderly, hope and social support in all areas of study provides the basis of empirical science, enrich and develop the old psychology research.This study randomly selected245retiree, guangxi guilin7universities as the research object, Using adult temperament hope scale, social support rating scale, SF-36health survey summary table on the test and interview survey participants. Data collected by SPSS15.0statistical description, t test, correlation analysis, variance analysis, regression analysis and path analysis, the following conclusions:First, the retired people hope to level of colleges and universities in the average level. The stand or fall of marital status for the elderly life quality in colleges and universities have a significant impact; Marital status in the interaction and sex and death of a spouse, have main effect on the level of hope; Marital status and number of children, marital status and post are produced interaction. And interaction of marital status and position, the position have the significant main effects of hope level;Second, social support of retired people in the average level, however, is significantly higher than local retired old man different marital status.
