Whether the "thing-in-itself can be known, has always puzzled philosophersand even the ordinary people today. If it can’t be known, so we can only meet in theknowledge of the phenomenon. But it is really an obsession for rational human, sincethe nature of reason is pursuit of unlimited. Then the unknowable thing-in-itself alsocannot afford of Kant’s praise: Determine the boundaires of human cognitive ability, and leave place for faith. Accordingly, the "thing-in-itself is a completely empty, even a dream is better than it. If the thing-in-itself can be known, how to prove thatwould be a huge project. The problem of "thing in itself’ has a inner clue in the ancient Greekphilosophy、empirical philosophy and German idealism. To explain the problem in thephilosophical tradition will make us more clearly. Kant and Hegel’s thought areparticularly important. H’umans thinking mode has been tied to the natural attitudefor a long time, so immediately understand Hegel’s philosophy is really difficult. Onlyunderstand why "thing-in-itself,is knowable, we are able to be saved from theskepticism. For this reason, the ifrst thing we did was elaborate on several key concepts. They include: in itself、for itself> thing-in-itself、understanding、force, the speciifccontent scattered in each chapter. With the foundation, we can start the further discussaccording to Hegel’s logic: every categoires that we used to grasp things are notempty or absolute static state. They have contents and movement, no isolated andempty concept. In the phenomenology ofs pirit, we analyzed the development ofconsciousness from low level to high. The low-level consciousness contain thenegative factors that decided they must ascend. We find the breeding soil of"thing-in-itself in consciousness, now we can successfully argue it can be known.
