In recent years, with the interaction of politics and economy and the fusion of culture and education between China and Mongolia, Chinese become indispensable tools to communicate with each other. According to the current materials, research about how to teach Chinese to Mongolian students is few, less the research about Chinese writing. Aiming at this problem, the author came to Inner Mongolia normal university international college in Erlianhot, and carried on a research about Chinese teaching, emphasizing on the writing teaching. Based on practice teaching, the author made a questionnaire survey. At the same time, author collected and analyzed some Mongolian students’ composition.Based on practice teaching, the author made a questionnaire survey to Mongolian students about their writing motivation, interest point, Chinese foundation and scheduling.Thus common problems in the Mongolian students’ composition writing are summarized, and the reasons to these problems are also found. There are: problems in writing essay questions and grammatical errors,writing content. The main reasons for these problems are summarizedcomposition teaching methods influenced by traditional teaching; student’sown weak foundation of Chinese writing; Negative impact of native language;do not pay attention to the teaching of writing. To solve these problems, Ipropose to raise the level of writing Chinese Mongolian students need to doproper innovation based on traditional teachings on; enhanced writing training,develop writing basics; reduce the negative impact of native teaching and theimportance of writing, only in this way could improve the level of Mongolianstudents’ writing.
