Solution-focused mindset is based on solution-focused brief therapy.It is a kind of problemsolving thinking mode with not to investigate the problem reason, pay attention to the futureorientation, emphasis on the characteristics of people’s own resources. Currently, it has beenpaied more and more attention in the field of school education because its non-pathologicalperspective, emphasis on positive characteristics.It also makes the discussion and improvesstudents’ solution-focused mindset has certain realistic meaning and practical value.This research adopts the methods of literature research, questionnaire survey, firstlyrevised the solution-focused inventory, and examined the reliability and validity of the Chineseversion. Meanwhile, explore the correlation among the solution-focused mindset, coping stylesand learning burnout.The main results are as follows:Firstly, the scale of college students’ solution-focused mindset includes12items and hashigh reliability and validity. The coefficient of correlation between the sub-scale and the wholescale is0.43-0.66. The coefficient of homogeneity is0.84. The scale and life satisfaction,resilience has significantly positively (0.17-0.52). Exploratory factor analysis results show thefactor loading of the sub-scales are0.695-0.879and the cumulative explained variance72.42%.Confirmatory factor analysis result Show χ2/df=2.625,RMSEA=0.050,GFI、CFI、IFI、NFIall above0.9.Seeondly, differences in the demographic variables exists on solution-focused mindset,coping styles, and learning burnout. There exists differences between solution-focusedmindset(t=-3.104,p<0.01) and learning burnout (t=2.24,p<0.05)incollege students’ sex. Thecollege students’ solution-focused mindset(F=5.182,p<0.01), coping styles and learningburnout(F=9.22,p<0.01) also have differences on grade. The hometown and the only child haveno significant effects on.Thirdly, solution-focused mindset, coping style and learning burnout have significant correlation (0.004-0.777), solution-focused mindset and coping styles can be applied to predictthe learning burnout.Fourthly, coping style in addition to solve the problem dimensions have a significantintermediation between the solution-focused mindset and learning burnout.
