In "Seventeen Years" overall literary context, by using the methods of socialhistorical criticism, literary history studies, comparative studies, text reading,narrative studies, etc. this paper intends to investigate Sun Li’s narrative stance andnarrative way, analyse his novel’s narrative aesthetic style which is different fromother novels in the same period. So we can reveal the constant narrative aesthetic ofSun Li in the changing context.The body part is divided into three chapters. Chapter one is to reveal thenarrative stance of intellectuals for farmers in Sun Li’s continued creation, at the"Seventeen Years" cultural context. He saw the deep feelings of the peasants in thespecial environment liberation struggle, his creation can not help but be affected bythe political environment and the struggle for survival environment, but his writingposition has not changed. After the liberation, he went into the city, relying onmemories of writing. We can say that consciously and firmly confirmed this choicefor farmers Writing.Meanwhile, he is also a rich literary temperament intellectuals.The conscious choice of narrative stance undoubtedly directly affected the formationand development of his creative method of realism.The second chapter summarizes the unique narrative style and narrative fictionaesthetic style of Sun Li’s novels in "Seventeen Years". It can be explainedtheaspects: his novels choose the themes and plot which can most represent hisnarrative standpoint and aesthetic ideas; shaping characters using the horizontalperspective; his narrative rhythm is leisured with soothing tone and indifferentemotion. He eventually formed his own unique aesthetic style: gentility, feminine,tender feeling, filled with a touch of sadness. The third chapter to see the distinguishing feature of language of his novels in"Seventeen Years": both the popularity of white folk, but also literary grace. Incolloquial basis, his language have the poetic beauty by his purification andelutriation; analysing of the rhetorical use of language by using the method ofrhetoric.
