On The Love View In Liuliu’s Works: A Case Study Of Wanggui And Anna, Double-sided Adhesive, Dwelling Narrowness

With the development of the popular culture and the influential extension of popularcontexts, the popular literature is becoming a more and more important role gradually sincethe new century. And both of the themes for urban, love and marriage are still the mainforce throughout the history of the popular literature. Liuliu, as one of the new generationfemale writers, has visibly great influence and appeal in the writing about urban, love andmarriage. This new generation women writer and her works are paid much more attentiongradually by the academics, so the study on her works is emerging in an endless stream.However, the research is far from being all-sided and systematic with limit to the singlework or the writer’s interview. Therefore, this thesis shows a more depth systematicresearch based on the existing achievement. And it analyzes her works under the consumerliterature from different aspects combined with different social culture phenomenon. In adifferent view of love, the thesis analyzes Liuliu’s works with different external factorsinfluence during the different period. It also finds the depth social reasons for love viewchange with focusing the love writing. The reason for Liuliu’s welcomed works andexisting limitation in the different field are studied. It can offer the reference for popularliterature research and produce.This thesis is divided into six parts as below. The first part is an introduction whichshows a brief overview of Liuliu’s life and creation. Her view on love shows a realism stylewhich looks at the problem with realistic themes and view. The second part is aninterpretation of Liuliu’s earliest work Wang Gui and Anna. It analyzes the writingbackground, content and style. This work is incorporated into her own relationships andexpectation for marriage and love. The third part is an interpretation for double-sided tape,the most disputed family ethics fiction. Through the analysis, this thesis explores the wivesand husbands should how to deal with "double-sided tape" in marriage. The fourth part isan analysis for Liuliu’s most successful work dwelling which also has caused enthusiasticagitation. It discusses the fickle for the love and contradiction between urban strangers’living situation and love. The fifth part is a deeper interpretation for Liuliu’s works. Thisthesis has a comprehensive analysis and study to Liuliu’s love writings from the femaleconsciousness, realism, humane care and consumer environment. The sixth part shows thelimitations and shortcomings existing in Liuliu’s writing. The writers in every age and erashould encounter inevitable limitations because of the restriction of times and themselves.As a writer, Liuliu should be the same.
