The Revelation Of Korean TV Play’s Persistence And Innovation To Chinese TV Play’s Creation

As one of the important part of the Korean Culture, Korean TV plays has muchinfluence on Chinese TV plays. Many years, Korean TV plays not only insist on showingits national culture and daily life, but also make much difference in the construction ofthe stories. This thesis focuses on this point to discuss the style of Korean TV plays, andin the same time hope it do has some suggestions to Chinese TV plays.First the thesis indicates that Korean TV plays persist in showing ordinary people’slife, and show the national culture in the plot, for example, Korean traditional ethics,Confucian culture, food, cloth. Then the thesis analyzes that when Korea is in thedevelopment of capitalism, its Confucian culture, traditional ethics and the Westernculture it received have been collided, and the harmony of these ideologies do effectKorean TV plays’ creation. Through the study, the thesis gets the conclusion that KoreanTV plays has the innovation of the space, theme, type, characters under the influence ofaudience’s ideas and aesthetic needs. At the same time, the thesis points the differentstyle of Chines and Koren TV plays based on their approximative culture. Through thestudy in the constract of Family drama, the thesis indicates that they are different inexpression of ethics in plot, the depth of theme and the participation of audience. Andnowadays, Chinese TV plays face the problems of homogenization, lack of showingnational culture in plot and excessive commercial advertisement, which obstructs thepromotion of TV plays’ quality and the development of industrialization.Facing thesevere challenges of Korean TV plays, this thesis points that Chinese TV plays, in thefuture, should pay more attention to the aesthetic needs and the feedback from audience,upgrade the spiritual quality, discuss the social topics with clean and harmoniouslanguage, and show our distinctive national culture in the plot. Chinese TV plays shouldintensify the industrial development, construct the sustainable developmental industrialchain, and exert positive effect in construction of country’s image and propaganda ofnational culture after they achieve the commercial value in the international market.Different from the studies of the analysis of Confucian culture in Korean TV plays,change of female characters, the overseas spread of Korean TV plays, the contrastbetween Korean and Chinese TV plays and so on, this thesis innovatively focuses on the change of the construction of the stories, summarizes its representation and deep reasonsof this change systematically. And it do has some theoretical significance to the study ofKorean TV plays and some practical guidance to the creation of Chinese TV plays in thefuture.
