Kinshudan(《锦绣段》) is a anthology. collected Chinese poetries from TangDynasty to Ming Dynasty, compiled by Ten’in So Ryutaku(天隐龙泽), a Rinzaimonk of Wushan period. As a enlightenment textbook for beginner, it is very popularin Japanese folk, and its influence is similar to Qianjiashi(《千家诗》) in China.Utsunomiya Ton’an’s(宇都宫由的) Kinshudan Shochu(《锦绣段详注》), as aimportant edition of Kinshudan, integrates the previous results and take his notes, andgive same considerations to the note to word, pronounce and sentences. It also studiedthe writing time and background of some poetries. And the Reference of Kinshudan ismore than200books, which include Confucian classics, history, philosophy, literature,Buddhism and Taoism. His quote not only is helpful to reader to understand themeaning of poetry, but also is a record of many precious ancient books and document.The words of poetries in this book are different to these edition published in China,which are valuable to Chinese literature. This paper is a study of collation and textualcriticisms to the quote of Kinshudan Shochu.This paper is divided into two parts. The first part is foreword and introduction,the former introduces the importance, history and method of the study, the latter is theintroduction of Kinshudan, includes its editions, the common peculiarity of thesepoetries and the advantages and disadvantages of Kinshudan Shouchu. The secondpart is collation and textual criticisms to the quote of Kinshudan Shochu. It is dividedinto18sections, such as astronomy, geography, Seasons, as the style of the book. Itcontrasts the quotes of this book to their editions published in China, and gives astudy to these differences between them. To those quotes which are wrong or toosimple, there are corrections and complements to them.
