Sun Li’s Research In The View Of Philology

Sun Li is not only a famous litterateur and writer in the history of Chinese contemporary literature, but also a cultured scholar in Philology bibliophile. In this paper, Sun Li Corpora will be the main study material, and the related works will also be deeply analyzed and studied in the field of philology. By this research, the paper aims to expose Sun Li’s talent on philology, and to set an example for other writers’ comprehensive qualities, and also to give Sun Li a objective comments on contemporary literature that he deserves.Four parts will be discussed in this paper. The first chapter will be a general introduction of Sun Li’s lifetime and works, and a simple explanation for the aim and meaning of the study, and the scope of the study will also be mentioned. The second chapter will analyze from the reason and variety of Sun Li’s collection to know the deeper meaning of his special habit of collection, and this part will also introduces how he protects his collections. A diagram for his collections in Sun Li Corpora will be made to have a clear understanding to his habit of collection. The third chapter is Sun Li and Bibliography. Through the method of comparative research, it will reveal that Sun Li focuses on the utilization and collection of the bibliographies under the influence of traditional bibliography and has special emphasis on evaluation the bibliography books from the practicability and literariness. Then comments will be made on his directory works, which can mainly reflect Sun Li’s philology opinions. So that the value of the works that Sun Li has written will be known, which shall be that on the system, Sun Li’s works inherits the traditional bibliography method and records the details of the books themselves; One the style, he connects literature to history, and on the contents, he focuses on connecting reality, which makes contents rich and realistic. The fourth chapter summarizes Sun Li’s opinions and suggestions in annotations of ancient books, modern translation of ancient books, and ancient literature reading.Throughout the paper, the innovation mainly lies in learning the new perspective to literature, discussing Sun Li’s related practice and theoretical insights and according it to make fair and objective evaluation.
