Discussion On Professor Bellei’s Teaching Revelation To College Music Education In Henan Normal University

Chinese music, despite its long sweep history and profoundness, has never won China the fame ofword music center, let alone Henan Province, which has long been mediocre in music education. In suchcondition, Professor Marco Bellei, the world leading figure of vocal music, has made a remarkablecontribution to the development of college music in this area since he taught in Henan Normal University.As a student of Professor Bailey, this author will expound his teaching ideas based on an objective andcomprehensive record and summary of his teaching and practice on Solfeggio, vocal performance, choralconducting, and Opera rehearsal, together with his devotion to the international art exchange, afterresearching into his teaching plan and work summary, as well as interviewing his students and colleagues.Finally, this thesis will discuss the revelation of his teaching methods on college music, culturalpromotion and exchange together with music innovation based on Professor Bailey’s teaching contributionand, put forward several possible suggestions that may be useful for the advancement of music education inHenan Normal University.
