Two-Way Interpretation Of Traditional And Modern

Review the piano works I have learned and contacted, make a general survey of the situation of domestic piano teaching for Latin American music and the musicians’ works, I will focus on Alberto Ginastera. Ginastera is the leader of the20th century American composers and the representative of Argentina folk music.In this paper, I based on current research status of Ginastera in the domestic and foreign, and take his two early piano works"Danzas Argentinas" and "Suite de danzas criollas"as the research objects of my master’s thesis. Thesis mainly starts from the selected topic background, the first chapter summarizes Ginastera’s life trajectory and music creations, have a preliminary understanding of the composer. And the music creations are divided into three stages:objective nationalism, subjective nationalism and neo-Expressionism. In order to carry on the overview of his creations of some piano works, orchestral works, ballets and so on, I listed them separately in each stage, and also summarizes the style characteristics. The second chapter analysis the traditional writing techniques of two piano works, mainly from three aspects of the musical structure, tonality and texture. The third chapter analysis the two piano works of modern writing techniques, mainly study the mode tonality, the language characteristics of harmony and melody and the features of rhythm, especially for the use of the folk dance of Argentina, involving malambo、chacarera、gato、zamba and chamame these five kinds of folk dances. The fourth chapter is the performance interpretation of the two piano works with my own practice and combine with the perceptual experience through listening some masters’performances and contrast the acoustic versions. The final conclusion is thinking about the traditional and modern significance of Ginastera’s early music creations, and explain some of my own opinions. It is also the summary of the whole article and my vision of the future.The purpose of the paper lies in the interpretation of the perfect combination of Ginastera’s traditional and modern writing techniques, and use the national folk music elements among them, in order to enrich our perceptions of Argentine national music, bring some enlightenments and references to the creation of Chinese piano music works and piano education, and I hope that my research can provide a theoretical reference for the further study of Ginastera and his works.
