The Application Of Folk Music Elements In Piano Performance And Teaching

Alberto Ginastera is a famous composer,educator and pianist in the 20 th century of Argentina.His piano works are rooted in the Argentine folk music,absorbed this national music features,and the creation of the western advanced techniques is blended in among them,many technique with modern characteristics,add new charm to national music.As a result,his music is full of romantic,enthusiastic,dynamic music,at the same time,when he in the face of the nation,national thinking,so that a more ambitious artists feelings deeply into his piano music,making his piano works in the forest of world art showing a unique style and imposing manner,make public impressed by his work.“Danzas Argentinas” isthe most representative one of the earliest piano works of Ginastera,there are consisted of three Argentina folk characteristic suites,each piece of music has the different ethnic style characteristic,sometimes flexible,sometimes tender,sometimes playful and naughty,extremely rich expression.Ginastera will combine with Argentina national music elements of traditional and modern writing techniques,it will give these traditional elements new vitality,it makes "Danzas Argentinas" to turn a excellent piano work of extremely rich national character and modernfeeling.The work is often played in many concerts and the piano contest.Based on Ginastera's ethnic music in the music elements as the breakthrough point,from the study of his piano works ethnic elements in “Danzas Argentinas” to know Ginastera's life and his music creation,and analysis his works in harmony,melody,melody,rhythm and music characteristics in his piano works,and combined with the work itself to explore the works of the succession of traditional folk music,as well as a composer to draw lessons from western modern composing techniques innovation and development,to achieve and people are familiar with suitable appreciation habit of creative thinking.The abilities of playing piano are not only master skills,playing the classical works so well also may not be able to interpret a national music style of piano works.From my first hand experience of playing,using the theory of ethnomusicology to analyze,especially in the use of folk dance in Argentina,involving Malambo,Gato,Zamba,there three kinds of folk dance.In this paper,combining the piano playing and piano teaching,correctly understand and handle the application of national music elements in piano playing.From the touch of the piano keys,special timbre and the acoustics of Ginastera's piano worksare further discussed,the application of national elements in piano teaching for further research.
