Since the20th century, with the wave of modernism prevailed, the interactiveinstallation art began to free from the traditional art form, and developed to an new artform with its unique concept and modeling method. Urban modernization process,meanwhile, been facilitated, which makes the city people to strengthen the ego spacepsychology to a certain extent weakened the interpersonal communication, so theurban public space has become a modern city the best place to vent their emotions, themodern city people demand for public space art is from simple aesthetic intointeraction. Interactive installation art is fit the artistic appeal of urban public space,has become increasingly accepted by people. Therefore, this article obtains from the"reception aesthetics", firstly summarizes the development of interactive device, thebasic characteristics of the inductive interaction device, forms, and technology factors.Secondly, it analyses the background and performance of interactive devicesintegrating into the urban public space, and the interaction process of the interactiveinstallation art intervening into the public space.
