A Study Of Visual Effect Of Art Creation On China’s Contemporary Female Oil Paintings

In the long development process of China, the women’s status was extremely low. For a long time, in the male dominated realm of art, Chinese oil painting world became an exclusive space of man. Generally, the female culture and oil-painting art failed to get social attention and they lost their deserved democratic power and freedom of speech. Thus, influential female oil painters were like gold-dust.In the1990s, result from the powerful impact from western culture, Chinese artistic field developed rapidly. Coming into people’s sights with a special vision, female art effectively promoted the development of female oil painting in contemporary China.Focusing on the artistic creative vision, this article mainly studies Chinese contemporary female oil painting and analyses the presentation, characteristic, influence and cultural significance of its artistic creative vision. Through the analysis of Chinese contemporary famous female oil painter’s representative works, the author promoted his knowledge and understanding of female oil painting and provided the theoretical basis for his art creation in the future.This article can be divided into three main parts. The first part introduces the historical background of Chinese contemporary female oil painting, including the origin and development status of female art as well as developmental reason and problems of Chinese contemporary female oil painting. The second part analyses the artistic creative vision in Chinese contemporary female oil painting, including the presentation, characteristic, influence and cultural significance of its artistic creative vision. Putting particular emphasis on their creative visual features, the third part analyses the representative works of Chinese contemporary famous female oil painters:Xia Junna, Shen Ling, Yan Ping, Yu Hong and Xu Xiaoyan. At last, it describes the author’s thought on the prospect of female oil painting as a reference for fellows.
