This paper attempts to regard the early modern English nobility as a whole, trying to look into the British social class during the period of social transformation by taking the education reform of nobility as the breakthrough point. The overall structure of the article roughly divided into three parts.The first chapter:The influence of the early modern economic and social changes and the rise of modern education on education reform. In the context of social transformation, this paper explores the reasons of the nobility education transformation two main aspects:extend shocks and internal demand, trying to understand the social background of the nobility and the pressure of a series of change they were facing. English nobility education reform is not only a positive response to social changes that the nobility made, but also a demand to maintain its own domination and all kinds of privileges. In addition, it is also in response to the impact of the emerging new class to its dominant position and privileges, and caters to humanism ideological trend and religious reformation. Of course, as the natural dominator, the nobility itself has the demand for education reform, in order to better fit for public office and deal with economic affairs.The second chapter:the nobility education mode of early modern British. Great changes of nobility education have taken place early modern British. Although the traditional medieval family education mode still exists, public mode of elite education has become the mainstream of nobility education, and is increasingly nobility, which leads to the great improvement of nobility education and cultural level. During this period, the number of nobility who receive public education is larger and larger. Public schools and universities is increasingly aristocratic, which changes the image of universities during the Middle Ages that the humble children can be sent to universities to learn the knowledge they live on. British education changes during mid16th century to mid17th century are so great that they can only be described by the word "revolution" and the expand education in this period is called "education revolution".Finally, the article attempts to analyze the impact of early modern British nobility education reform, which involves the influence of the nobles’ cultural level, the noble image, the political aspects such as strengthen the privileged position, also includes the influence of social culture and art creation, social values, and its influence on making the university aristocratic. The reform of British nobility in education culture makes it successfully dealing with the crisis of social transformation, which not only changes the educational cultural quality of the whole class, but effectively defends its dominance, producing profound influence on all levels of society.
