Research On The Art Education Activities Of Art Clubs In The Early Period Of The Republic Of China

The flourishing of the art society in the early period of the Republic of China was a distinct artistic phenomenon in the history of modern art.Different from traditional literati associations,the art associations in this period have developed into a modern sense of society,with certain purposes,organizational structure and regulations.They also bear the role of disseminating art and cultivating talents while communicating with art and research.The rise and development of art associations not only reflects the changes of modern social culture,but also its diverse community activities is also a direct reflection of the development of modern art education.Therefore,on the basis of collating and summarizing the art associations that emerged between 1912 and 1937,we chose the representative and long-lived art associations in Beijing and Shanghai to explore the organization of each association and its association activities.The role of art and education activities is discussed.The development of new art education in the early period of the Republic of China provided cultural soil and talent resources for the emergence of art associations.In this context,Chinese and Western cultures have collided and merged in an all-round way.Art associations of different natures and types have emerged one after another.The art society has presented the characteristics of diversified development.These associations may be organized by school teachers and students,or they may be born on campus and have close contact with the school.Moreover,without the constraints of the school teaching system,the art education form is flexible and diverse,and complements the school art education.At the same time,the art society has played a role in popularizing art and improving the cultivation of popular art by organizing open association activities such as art exhibitions and concerts or by establishing academic journals to build an art communication platform.By analyzing the mutual aid role of art associations and art education in schools and the role of art education in society,it can be seen that during the specific historical period of the Republic of China,the development and dissemination of art and art education was the school art education.And two important channels of various art groups.
