After the Norman Conquest in1066, the England has accelerated the process of its feudal and gradually established a feudal system, changing the social relations between Britain and formed the basis of land tenure relations of personal dependence, British original Anglo-Saxon habit common law has not adapted to this new social relationships. Thus England, need new laws to regulate the12th century, a series of new social relations since the conquest, it is under such social conditions, the emergence of Henry Ⅱ of England judicial reform, although the top-down start, but it has a solid social foundation. Continuing struggle with the monarchy is another church background reform, and the results of Stephen brought anarchy ruling is the direct cause of reform. Henry Ⅱ was crowned in1154following the position, in order to eliminate the anarchy of Stephen period, have sought to strengthen judicial reform writ dominated monarchy, and on this basis to establish a new royal court assizes system, the final13century laid the foundation for the formation of the common law. Henry Ⅱ legal reforms aimed at strengthening the monarchy, and thus adjust the social relations of England, after the formation of the British judicial reform by the new writ jurisdiction reflected in the structure reflects the feudal law.
