| Since the development of oil painting, more than six hundred years ofart history, painting materials and techniques experienced inheritance and changeunceasingly, painters constantly explored how to make better performance of paintingessence language with painting materials and techniques. The development history ofoil painting in China has more than one hundred years, art workers become more andmore interested in landscape painting imagery beauty, and increasingly concerned inthe innovation of landscape painting materials and techniques, so as to realize thespiritual connotation of their image. Nowadays, oil painting materials and techniquesare highly mature and perfect, finding a new possibility is extremely small, but theinnovation of art won’t end. How to use different materials and techniques to influenceimagery expression in landscape paintings, will be the focus in the study of this article.Combining with the "rustic" series painting, from the meaning of imagery expression,relationship between material technique and image expression, influence of materiallayer on landscape painting image, influence of chinese and western techniques andmaterials on image expression etc.,to explore the influence of image expression inlandscape painting with different materials and techniques.This paper stand on the basis of predecessors’ theory and practice, using the"rustic" series painting as examples, with the influence of materials and techniques onimage expression as the breakthrough point. In the process of painting practice,thebreakthrough and development of materials and techniques is also a self innovation.Hoping that this article research, with the "rustic" as the main line, may cause furtherthinking about image beauty from different angles, and also to better express theimagery of "rustic" series painting. |
