Study On The Landscape Expression Of The "Northland" Series Oil Painting

With the passage of time,the subject matter of oil painting creation is constantly enriched,and the styles are also diverse.The techniques and styles of oil painting creation are constantly increasing at home and abroad.Oil painting creation is expressed by observing external objects and combining one’s own feelings.Oil painting landscape creation pays attention to the expression of painting language,not only through the proficient mastery of painting skills and applying it to one’s own painting creation,but also through the description of nature combined with subjective personal emotions.This article introduces landscape oil painting and my personal works.My oil painting "Northland" series of oil painting landscapes depicts the scenery of the northern region dominated by Changbai Mountain in the northeast.The word "Northland" is not as simple as the winter northern scenery explained on the surface,but is for the representative ethnic groups in northern my country from ancient times to the present.A general term for the scenery near Changbai Mountain where it originated.The spring,summer,autumn and winter in this area are the general term for the word "Northern".This essay takes the northeast scenery as the main theme of Changbai Mountain in the northeast as a series of theme creation,which has its strong northeast regional and ethnic characteristics.In the language of oil painting,the alpine grassland trees in this area are summarized as a whole.The topic of this article stems from my love for my second hometown,Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture in Jilin Province.I have lived in Yanbian for 9 years since I was in college.During these 9 years,I have gone from classmates to teachers to colleagues.It is said that the scenery of Changbai Mountain in our country is beautiful,and I have been to Changbai Mountain many times,and I am deeply attracted by the scenery of Changbai Mountain.Therefore,I chose this topic as my graduation thesis.This article mainly studies the creative background of the "Northland" series and the expression form of the "Northland" series.And how to properly integrate the composition,color,light and shadow,and texture into the Yanbian landscape.Through my own observation and copying of the actual scenery of Changbai Mountain,I combined my feelings and feelings about the place over the years,combined with my own creative practice in the "Northland" series of oil paintings.The scenery in Yanbian is different.
